Once again we are asking for people to prove who is the best at Battle Royale!

Singles list, Battle Royale mode, £5 entry. Kills and position scores you points, highest single-run points scored after the final run at 4pm wins a copy of the Fortnite: Last Laugh bundle on either Switch, Playstation or Xbox as well as the Fortnite Unicorn Pickaxe prop!. 2nd and 3rd place runners up receive a gift voucher for use in store. Tournament runs from 10am, the last run will start at 4pm and then once all current runs are over at that time the tournament ends.

We expect attendance for this event to be fairly high, so get down early to avoid disappointment. Attempts will be done on a first-come-first-served basis and your names entered into a queue system. We aim to have at least 6 active stations online and playing at the same time to cater for more contestants at once and to hopefully reduce wait times. Once you have had your turn you can buy-in again to have a second go, at which point you will go to the bottom of the queue again and await your next turn.

To score: during your run you will earn 20 points per enemy kill, with 5 bonus points awarded for each position above 21st (so +5 for coming 20th, up to +100 for coming 1st!). This means getting stuck in and actively defeating your enemies is worth more in the long run than hiding til last man standing, indeed you could have a great run and get 15 kills early but get eliminated in the top 25 and still beat someone who hid in a bush for 20 minutes and got the lucky final kill to come 1st.
If you are eliminated in the first 10 players you are allowed to respawn immediately and try again as part of your entry, but if you do you score no points for your failed run (so if you hot-drop and get 6 kills with a pistol and your pickaxe but get sniped by someone to end up 91st, it may actually be worth banking that run at 120pts rather than potentially trying again and getting zero).
